Funding Structure: Option 1: £5,000 for initial legal advice; Option 2: up to £100,000 for pursuing legal cases

important notes: Applicants do not need to use Option 1 before applying for Option 2; funding supports third-party expert services only; buildings must meet strict eligibility criteria under the Building Safety Act

Key Organisational Requirements: Applicant must be the relevant Local Authority or Fire and Rescue Authority; building must be in England; building must be residential, at least 11 metres or 5 storeys high, and contain fire safety defects; funding must be used for third-party expert advice related to legal enforcement
