Application Components: Manufacturers apply for vehicle approval; dealerships submit grant claims
Application Platform: Manufacturer and dealership online portal
Decision Process: Vehicle eligibility assessed by VCA and OZEV; grant applied at purchase
Funding Structure: Small vans: up to £2,500; large vans: up to £5,000; trucks: up to £120,000 depending on weight category and region
important notes: Grant is applied as a discount; customers do not apply directly; limited number of grants available; end customers are capped at 1,500 orders per financial year
Ineligible Costs: Post-registration vehicle conversions; second-hand vehicles
