Application Platform: Innovation Funding Service (IFS)

Assessment Criteria: Applications reviewed by an independent assessor based on content, relevance, and quality of proposal

Decision Process: Competitive process with funding allocated based on assessment outcomes and available budget

Eligible Research Costs: Engagement of an external Project Facilitator to support the preparation and submission of a Full ADOPT Grant application

Funding Structure: Fixed grant of £2,500 per successful applicant; 100% funding of eligible costs

important notes: Applicants must submit a Full ADOPT Grant application within six months to receive payment; only one application per round allowed; maximum of two support grants per applicant overall

Ineligible Applicants: Non-profit or non-commercial organisations including charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs)

Ineligible Costs: Subcontractor costs (not permitted under this grant)

Key Organisational Requirements: Must be an active, established commercial farming, growing, or forestry business with a UK bank account; must engage a registered Project Facilitator

Objectives: To improve the quality of Full ADOPT applications, increase accessibility to funding, and support innovation through on-farm trials
